One of my biggest role models is my uncle, Jack Dross, a therapist in the Omaha community who primarily works with adolescents and families. I have always looked up to him and was so touched over the years hearing testimonials from clients and colleagues alike regarding the help and relief he provides through his work. I have always been passionate about helping people, but couldn't picture myself in the medical field, therefore, I knew following in the steps of my namesake was the career path I was meant for.
It was important to me after graduating, to get a wide range of experience with different populations of people in an effort to best help a broad range of individuals through private practice, which was always my ultimate goal. I have worked as a Day program Specialist with Community Alliance in the mental health field and then shifted gears to gain more experience in treating substance use disorders as a Short Term Residential Therapist with Catholic Charities Campus for Hope and a Long Term Co-Occurring Residential Therapist with CenterPointe Campus for Hope.
In 2016, I was approached by a group of amazing women who were opening a new office space and wanted to know if I was interested in beginning my career in private practice. It has been an exciting and educational journey, and I could not be more satisfied with where I have landed.
I look forward to helping you through your own journey to find and live as your happiest, healthiest YOU!
